The house is situated on the uppermost point of the plot, taking advantage of the existing topography to optimize natural light and views. Located on clay soil with low bearing capacity, the design features a load-bearing wall structure that distributes the building’s weight as much as possible, incorporating traditional stonework and ensuring the stability of the ground. The house is defined as a compact and simple volume with a pitched roof, in keeping with the area’s traditional architecture.
The living area forms the central space of the house. Through various intermediate spaces (porches, galleries, etc.), it connects with the exterior, receiving light and views from all directions. The house functions like a sundial. From its center, it follows the sun’s path throughout the day, evolving in its use and establishing a close relationship with its natural surroundings.
